Pricey Country Club and Gold Memberships May Be Worthwhile for Business



A tried and true method to succeed in business is to join a country club. A Tom Corley study found 23% of the rich have been members of country clubs. So what’s in it for the average Joe? Elevating your consciousness. Quite simply, who you associate with is who you become, but the obstacle is the price of entry. About 16% say they’ve spent $10,000 or less to join. Playing golf can be a cheaper alternative. 22% of the rich play golf weekly and 30% joined a golf club for business. Whether it’s a country club or a golf course, it only takes one profitable relationship to pay off the cost of that pricey membership.
