Millennial moms are less likely to be covered by life insurance than millennial fathers. A Life Ant survey found that eighteen percent of new mothers under 30 years old have life insurance coverage compared to 35% of fathers their age even though millennials pay the least amount for coverage. A 30-year-old can buy term life insurance for less than twenty dollars a month. But the younger the mother, the less likely she is to be insured — only 38% of moms between 30 and 45 are insured.
